I have never heard of John Maxwell before, but I am very impressed by his writing. There were so many great things he was saying that I found myself going back and reading what I had just read so I could really digest what he was saying. 21 qualities seems to be an amazing amount of qualities to me so I'm looking forward to what they all are.
There were so many statements he made, but 3 of them really stood out to me. First off he says to search for the cracks. Really taking a look inward and admitting where we have flaws, ouch I think this is going to hurt a little. Second statement, "real character is being bigger on the inside". Which is the area of our life that no one else can see except for God and what He thinks of us should matter way more than what other's think. Third statement "You can never separate a leader's character from their actions". Wow, actions really do speak louder than words and it all comes back and truly reveals our character. Like I said before "ouch" this is going to hurt a little by making us really take a good look at ourselves. I guess it's going to a bit like "Spring cleaning" for the soul, probably much needed too.
